
Brett Kaysen
Brett Kaysen has been an influence in the Alpaca Community on many levels since 2001. He
has traveled coast-to-coast teaching seminars on alpacas consisting of classroom presentations
as well as “hands-on” workshops. Brett also holds an instrumental position with the
AOBA Judges Training Program where he teaches Oral Reasons and Conformation. Brett
has a passion for educating, especially in the area of youth education. He has taught the nation’s
youth about various livestock industries and has spent countless hours volunteering
to educate youngsters involved in 4H programs nationwide.
Brett was raised east of Brighton, Colorado where he has always been involved with every
aspect of raising livestock.

Debbie Harden (West Penn Alpacas)
Debbie Harden graduated from California University of Penn with a BS Degree in Marketing. She was employed by West Penn wire as Marketing Co-coordinator. In 1996, after purchasing a farm, the first investments were made into the creation of West Penn Alpacas. After the birth her daughter Alexis in 1998, Debbie left the corporate world to be a stay at home mom and full time alpaca farmer. West Penn Alpacas started as a Suri farm and as the farm, family and herd grew, Debbie sold the entire Suri herd to concentrate solely on Huacayas. With 12 years raising alpacas, Debbie was an initial member of PAOBA, The Suri Network, AFCNA, and MAPACA. Debbie was also a founding partner in the Eastern Extreme Auction and a partner in the creation of Silver Penn Sales.
